After our excellent stay a year ago, we had no hesitation booking Penbridge Court for a second weekend away.
The staff were responsive, helpful and flexible again: I had an issue getting down from London in time for the check in, but was told that it would be no problem at all for the manager to check me in over the phone. When I arrived I found that the Majestic order had arrived early - the staff had taken delivery of it and left it in the kitchen for us without batting an eyelid, which was much appreciated.
As with last year, the house is massive, and beautifully maintained. The 25 of us had no problem finding somewhere to sleep, thanks to the extra bedding and linen provided for us by the staff.

What a wonderful week we’ve had, everyone from 7 to 79 loved it. A superb warm, beautifully furnished barn, with equally good cottages and great beds and linen. The French Kitchen produced 2 great meals, can’t praise them enough either.
I could carry on enthusing about our week, but would also like to say ‘thank you’ to Samantha ..so relaxed and easy to deal with. An amazing part of Somerset that we and few of our guests had visited before.... we hope to return.

We booked Penbridge Court as a venue for a family get together and it was a brilliant venue for all 4 generations of our family. The rooms were superb and well fitted out. The kitchen was excellent and enabled us to cater easily for everyone. The huge dining table let us all eat together when we wanted and retiring to the lounge with the log burner was a great way to finish the evening. Add in the games room for some fun as well as the garden and the hot tub and there was plenty to keep everyone happy.
Looking to book again for next year.

We were a group of 24 going away for an annual long weekend. The house was absolutely perfect, beautifully maintained and stunning location. We were all able to sit around the massive dining table, and at no point felt like we were living on top of each other. My favourite thing about Penbridge however was that whilst it comfortably accommodated such a large group, it still felt warm and homely. Much use was made of the log fire in the living room, and of course the hot tub!
The owners and staff were exceptional in tailoring the house to our specific requirements and sleeping arrangements; there was ample extra bedding and linen, and most importantly they were friendly and accessible at every juncture.
